SIX MONTHS! Sept 16, 2022

WELL.   Six months! It seems somewhat longer but also just a moment in eternity right?  We had a great trip and my head did not explode in the plane so THAT was huge! I am still more tired, still more rehab to do.  I am wondering if this is my new normal but I do feel a tiny bit less exhausted each week. My left shoulder/scapular area and neck has some impressive knots as does the right but I suspect that is from the other stenosis issues.  I had a PT meeting and let him know that I could not do some of the easy exercises b/c it really tweaked the nerves (icing for a couple days) so we dialed back.   In any case I am SO GLAD I had the surgery and that I have a chance at a regular life where I can get on a plane and visit kids!

5 and a half months! LABOR DAY

VERY happy to say that we are still testing negative even after flying Wednesday from SFO to Boston to see the Littlest Grands.  They are so adorable and full of life and love that it has totally fixed my depression! No matter what else I have to do to get better (long term road) I can still enjoy them and now I can walk with them and go to the parks etc! Which is really cool.  So so grateful it is not like when I was here last before surgery at Christmas, and that there was NOT the excruciating pain in my head like there was before my surgery when the plane was changing altitude or pressurized.  Alleluia and AMEN (can I hear you say it?!) this means I can be on planes again!
