Eight Months!

8 months! March 16 to November 16th.  For those contemplating this surgery remember that it will take about 8+ months to have a semblance of your baseline prior to the worst of the head explosion pain (so I would go back to prior to December of 2020.) I find I still have difficulty with managing lunges but that is likely due to lower spinal damage.  I am able to walk 2 miles, also can cook a dinner and do something else non-taxing during the day.  Still need a couple of naps to function well.  Sleep has been difficult at times due to the lower back issues.  Neck: I have buzzing around left arm, shoulder, back by scapula and front by clavicle. Still learning 3# bicep curls and doing better w 2# triceps.   Everything is slow to increase w/o upsetting the nerves.  My cat scan is set for Dec. 15th to check out healing of the neck apparatus. I can drive! I can walk! I can have fun again, for which I am so so thankful! We were able to have guests! Niece Lorna and then Great Niece Layna and Zack.  I had naps PRN so we could go and visit the Redwoods, have fun at Notre Vue, go to the ocean.

I am so very lucky that I had this surgery completed when I did and that I can live again.

Hair from incision area is about 3-4 inches long and curls everywhere and is coming in BROWN.   What the hell?

Will upload photos when I get them!
